Under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme, the government will provide financial assistance to the people in villages having tourism potential. Under the scheme, financial assistance will be provided for 5 to 10 houses. This entire scheme will be operated by the Union Ministry of Tourism. In the first phase, apart from these islands located in Chachakota area of ​​Banswara, about 1 thousand home stays will be built in the entire country.

You will get so many lakhs of rupees for the renovation of the house

Under the scheme, about Rs 5 lakh will be given for building a house with hotel-like facilities and Rs 3 lakh will be given for the renovation of an old house. At the same time, if any Gram Panchayat wants to develop community facilities in the village, then they will get another Rs 5 lakh separately. The main objective of this scheme is to promote tourism in the tribal areas and provide maximum employment to the local people.

Central government started a great initiative

Banswara Collector Dr. Inderjit Yadav says that the Central Government has started the scheme by taking a very good initiative. The people of the district should take maximum benefit of this scheme. Mahi backwater area has good tourism potential. People not only from nearby but also from other states come here to visit. To make people aware about this scheme, the district administration will also, in collaboration with the tourism department, call the people of potential tourism villages in a workshop at the local level and give them information about the scheme.
