The Nagar Palika administration and the Revenue Department team demolished the encroachment done by former Sarpanch Indu Shekhar Dixit on government land in front of the sub-tehsil in Bahadurpur Nagar Palika on Friday. The encroachment was demolished by using a bulldozer.
While demolishing the encroachment, the spot magistrate and Alwar Tehsildar Tanu Sharma said that this is government land. A person named Indu Shekhar Dixit had encroached upon it. After giving notice, the encroachment has been demolished with the help of JCB. During this, Nagar Palika EO Pankaj Kumar Mangal and Bahadurpur Naib Tehsildar Sapna Meena along with police force were present.
Hundreds of people from the municipality gathered to see this encroachment being demolished. The common people said that the encroachment was done about 9 years ago. The common people are also constantly complaining to the officials.
