Employees put red marks on houses
At the same time, the employees who came to give notice to vacate the house, after putting red marks, said that the area of ​​36 meters of the District Collectorate road belongs to the government. The structures built on it will be demolished. When people asked questions, the employees who came to give notice said that they had received orders to mark people’s houses and ask them to vacate their houses. There is panic among the family members after the red mark is placed on the house. Told the employees that they have been living here for about 50 years, their leases have also been received. In such a situation, how can one think of removing them from here?

People said – Government order beyond understanding
Seeing the crowd of people, both the employees left the place after asking them to convey the message to their officers. Many family members living in the houses built in front of the Collectorate said that they have been living here for about 50 years. They have also got leases from the Municipal Corporation. A very old Gurudwara is also built in this area. Instructions to remove that also were given by these employees to the people living there. They have also received assistance for constructing permanent houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, but now the new order of the government is beyond their understanding.

Some people occupied the footpath – UIT Secretary
Bharatpur Urban Development Trust (UIT) Secretary Rishabh Mandal said that some people have occupied the footpath in front of the District Collector’s office and built houses by putting tin sets. Those who have encroached have been given notice by the department and have been asked to vacate. Otherwise the encroachment will be removed by the administration itself. The purpose behind freeing this encroachment is to beautify the footpath by planting trees.
