Bumper recruitment for 10th pass in postal department, application started

Jaipur : There is great news for the youth waiting for a government job. The government has announced bumper recruitment in the postal department. The Indian Postal Department has issued a notification for the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevak. According to the notification, a total of 44228 posts of Gramin Dak Sevak will be filled. The online application process for recruitment to the posts of Gramin Dak Sevak has started from July 15.

How many posts in which state

In Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment 2024, there will be recruitment for 44228 posts in 23 circles across the country. In this, the maximum number of 4588 Gramin Dak Sevak posts will be filled in Uttar Pradesh. After this, 2718 posts will be filled in Rajasthan, 2558 posts in Bihar, 4011 posts in Madhya Pradesh, 1338 posts in Chhattisgarh and recruitment will be done in other states.

Minimum Educational Qualification

The minimum educational qualification for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak is 10th pass. This means that people who have passed 10th from a recognized school education board can apply for this post. Apart from this, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age at 32 years for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak. Candidates from reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per the government rules.

When will the online application be open?

The online application process has started from July 15, which will continue till August 05. The date for correction in the application form has been fixed from 06 August to 08 August 2024. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in 10th. After this, state-wise and circle-wise merit will be prepared.

Application fee

Then the candidates will be called for document verification. General and OBC candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 for applying online for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak. At the same time, there is no fee for SC, ST and disabled, while women candidates of all categories are exempted from application fees.
