Bundi 270 crores will change the picture of Bundi, development will get new wings

Bundi : Citizens of Bundi district will get the gift of development works in the new year. With development in urban areas, facilities for the common people will be developed. On the initiative of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, all-round development work will be done in the urban bodies of the district including the city at a cost of Rs 270 crore. Soon, a detailed development action plan will be prepared and development works will be implemented on the ground. Recently, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla had instructed the District Collector to take loan from HUDCO to deal with the shortage of funds to the Municipal Council and Municipal Corporations so that the development work in urban areas is not hampered. Under this, instructions have been given to send loan proposals of Rs 200 crore for the Municipal Council area and Rs 10 crore each for development works in the municipalities to HUDCO. With this amount, rapid development work will be done in urban areas and the common people will get better facilities.

Will send PPR report in a week

On Thursday, District Collector Akshay Godara held a meeting with the Municipal Council Commissioner, executive officers of municipalities and HUDCO representatives. In the meeting, the District Collector informed that as per the wish of the Lok Sabha Speaker, work is being done on the action plan for development in the urban areas of the district. A PPR report worth Rs 200 crore in Bundi Municipal Council area and Rs 10 crore each in 7 municipalities will be prepared and sent to HUDCO in the next seven days. In this, apart from the works of beautification and providing facilities to the common people, such works should also be done which will provide sources of income to the urban bodies.
