Bundi News Desk: As soon as we hear the name of Bundi Chhoti Kashi, beautiful forts, palaces, ponds, stepwells and heritage lanes and lakes come before our eyes. Bundi, which is full of wealth, has seen many ups and downs in the field of tourism. Amidst these ups and downs, an international painter has tried to give a boost to the tourism here. This painter, who has shown his painting skills in many states, is Vikrant Shitole of Mumbai. When this painter came to Bundi for the first time in 2013, he was so convinced of the heritage here that after coming to Bundi seven times, he depicted its heritage on canvas and introduced it to the people. When Vikrant came to Bundi in 2024, he decided to do something different to make the heritage of this place known to the people across the country. He made people aware of the heritage of Bundi by making paintings of Bundi’s heritage and showcasing it in Mumbai for 7 days.
The people of Mumbai were stunned to see the heritage of Bundi. More than this, Vikrant got a book of paintings published so that the tourism of Bundi could soar. There are many paintings of Bundi’s heritage in the book, which are giving a message to the people to come here. Shitole says that every possible effort will be made to increase the tourism of Bundi and more and more people are joining the Bundi Mahotsav and spreading the word.
