Bundi : Bundi District Task Force meeting regarding preparations regarding the successful implementation of Vaccination Day on 8th December was held on Monday in the District Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Collector Akshay Godara. The District Collector informed all the officers about the Deputy Vaccination Day to be organized on 8th December Instructions were given to take active participation in the successful implementation of National Pulse Polio Vaccination Day. He directed to pay special attention to polio vaccination in identified high risk areas, brick kilns, under-construction construction sites, mining areas of Dabi district and make special efforts to administer polio medicine to maximum number of children at polio booths.
He said that no child should be deprived of vaccination, hence 100% vaccination should be done. He directed that children of mining workers should also be vaccinated with the help of representatives of the mining association of the district. Besides, vaccination of school children should also be done with the help of the Education Department. He said that to make the sub-national Pulse Polio campaign successful, mutual cooperation has been taken from Discoms and ICDS, Ayurveda departments. Electricity supply should not be interrupted for vaccination. Also, a meeting should be held at the subdivision level on Thursday under the chairmanship of all the subdivision officers. He directed that cooperation of public representatives should be taken for successful implementation of Pulse Polio campaign and active participation in the campaign. Also instructions were given to maintain the register during vaccination.
Dose will be given to 1 lakh 51 thousand 68 people
Chief Medical Officer Dr. OP Samar said that under the Pulse Polio campaign organized in the district, doses will be administered at polio booths on December 8. Under the campaign, about 1 lakh 51 thousand 68 children in the age group of newborn to five years will be administered polio vaccine.
