Bundi : Bundi District level women’s symposium was organized by Rajasthan Teachers Association (National) on Sunday in a school premises located on Nainwan Road of the city. Divisional Joint Women Minister Meena Nagar was the main speaker in the first session of the program and Kalpana Sharma, Advocate Council member from Kota, was the main speaker in the second session. The program was presided over by District Organization Minister Manisha Kumawat and District Vice President Neelam Gautam. Divisional Joint Women Minister Meena informed about the introduction of Lokmata Ahilya Bai Holkar.
He said that Ahilyabai’s simple life, ethical governance and efficient politics have a special place in the history of the world. Her personality and creativity make her a leader among the best women in the world. Keynote speaker Kalpana said in her address that in today’s changing environment, efforts are being made by external forces to spoil our culture and pollute the social environment. Therefore, it becomes the double responsibility of women to educate their children in such a way that they can recognize their cultural and social values. For this, the girl students will have to do the work of teaching self-defense skills, imparting human values, telling about human rights, including reading out biographies of great men and brave women, etc. District Organization Minister Manisha Kumawat talked about working as per the rules and policies of the organization. District Women Minister Pooja Kanwar expressed gratitude. It was conducted by Women Secretary Shipra Yadav.
