Bus full of devotees overturns after going out of control in Bundi potholes, three killed

Bundi : near Ghat Ka Barana on Kota-Dausa Mega Highway passing through Deikheda police station area, on Saturday night at around quarter to two, a private bus went out of control and overturned after hitting an electric pole while avoiding potholes in the middle of the road. In the accident, two people traveling in the bus died at the spot and one died during treatment. Thirteen people were injured in the accident, who were taken to Kapren Hospital with the help of an ambulance, where after first aid, everyone was referred to Kota.

Police Officer Ajit Singh Chaudhary said that at night a bus was going from Rawatbhata towards Chauth Ka Barwada, which went out of control and overturned near Ghat Ka Barana. After reaching the spot of incident, the injured were taken out and sent to the hospital, after which with the help of a crane, the bus was removed from the road and the road was restored. The bus has been brought to the police station and parked there for security reasons. Further action on the matter is ongoing.

Arvind Singh Rajput (62) and the last Kumar Vaishnav (28), resident of Rawatbhata, who were traveling in the bus, died on the spot, whose bodies were kept in the mortuary of Kapren Hospital at night. Later on Sunday, post-mortem of both the bodies was done and handed over to the family members. In the afternoon, seriously injured Mangilal Rathore (60) also died during treatment in Kota hospital. Mangilal was the conductor of the bus, while the driver of the bus fled from the spot after the accident.

The injured in the bus included Dhapu Bai Mehra (60), Rupali Bai Bhil age (50), Narayan Singh Rajput (68), Shakuntala Rajput (50), Kanta Bai Rajput (60), Bhulkanwar Rajput (60), Pushp Kanwar Rajput (55). ), Ladkanwar Rajput (55), Poshri Bai Prajapat (32), Monica Prajapat (20), Kalavati Mehra (49), Chandrakanta (45), Tolaram, Pawan etc. were injured, who were referred to Kota after first aid. The condition of some of these people is said to be serious.
