By-election cancelled in Dausa district of Rajasthan, know the big deal

Dausa : The by-election to be held on Thursday (5 September) in ward 17 of Municipal Council Dausa was postponed by the government. This was strongly opposed by the Congress. During this, many workers including Dausa MP Murarilal Meena and District Congress Committee President Ramjilal Odh staged a sit-in protest. Murarilal Meena said that ‘When the BJP, which has killed humanity and democracy, cancelled the by-election of the councilor of Municipal Council Dausa, the polling party had already reached the booth to cast votes.

‘Elections cannot be cancelled’
Murarilal Meena said that as per the Supreme Court’s order, elections cannot be cancelled under any circumstances after the completion of the election process, but the BJP has acted arbitrarily. The BJP is seeing its end, and out of frustration, it is doing such acts. The common people are troubled by the BJP’s dictatorship.

‘Ego is getting out of control’
Former MLA of Bandikui GR Khatana said that ever since BJP has come to power, their arrogance has been on the rise. The common people of the country are suffering in every way. Currently, the election of ward councillor has been cancelled due to the fear of losing badly in the by-election.

‘We will awaken the government through the yagya’
Dausa Congress District President Ramjilal Odh said that the by-election for the councillor in Dausa was cancelled due to the fear of forfeiture of deposit. We will fight both legal and political battles. Along with this, we will try to wake up the sleeping government by performing Sadbuddhi Yagna. The workers will stand firmly against dictatorship. We will not allow any attack on democracy under any circumstances.
