Jaipur : Assembly by-elections are going to be held on 7 seats in Rajasthan. For which both BJP and Congress parties have intensified election preparations. By-elections can be announced any time. BJP has held meetings at the state core committee and the residence of national president JP Nadda in Delhi. Panels of names of 3-3 candidates are being prepared. Some seats also have panels named 1 or 2.

Challenge to Congress to save four seats

Congress is more worried because Congress has to save its 4 seats Ramgarh, Dausa, Jhunjhunu and Deoli Uniara seats. Whereas to capture the other 3 seats – Khinvsar, Chaurasi and Salumber, winnable and sustainable candidates have to be fielded. On the other hand, BJP has to save only one seat, Salumber, which it had last time. But at the same time, being the ruling party, it has to show its performance by winning the remaining 6 seats also.

1.Dausa seat –
The vacancy has arisen after former Congress MLA Murarilal Meena became MP. Congress wants to retain this stronghold of its seat. Sachin Pilot has a lot of influence in the field. On the other hand, Kirori Lal Meena from BJP also has good influence.

2.Deoli- Uniara seat
Dausa has become vacant after Harish Meena, who was Congress MLA from here, became MP. Congress party has a good influence on this seat also. Congress will make every possible effort to save its seat. BJP will try to win here by fielding a strong candidate.

Dheeraj Gurjar- Former MLA, youth leader, coordination with both Sachin Pilot and Gehlot, close to Priyanka Gandhi, was the national secretary of AICC.

3.Slumber seat
Salumber seat of Udaipur has become vacant due to the death of BJP MLA Amritlal Meena. Of the 7 by-election seats, only Salumber was with BJP. In such a situation, BJP faces a big challenge to save the seat. Here the sympathy factor and support of the ruling party can work in the area.

5.Jhunjhunu seat
The seat became vacant after Congress MLA Brijendra Ola became MP. This has traditionally been considered a Congress seat. The challenge for Congress is to maintain the streak of winning the seat and for BJP to demolish its stronghold.

Rajendra Bhambu- Contested the elections as an independent last time, had secured more than 42000 votes. BJP candidate got 57000 votes. There were major reasons for the defeat of the BJP candidate. This time BJP can correct its mistake.

The seat became vacant after former BAP MLA Rajkumar Rot became MP. Chances of triangular contest in tribal area. Here both the parties Congress and BJP are busy searching for their lost ground.
