Calendar of 2025 released, there will be so many holidays next year, see the complete calendar here

Jaipur : Rajasthan Government has released the calendar of public holidays falling in the year 2025. According to the released calendar, there will be a total of 53 public holidays in the year. Which includes 33 public and 20 optional holidays. No new holiday has been added to the calendar issued by the General Administration Department. But, the new sky of Parshvanath Jayanti has been shown in the list of optional holidays. It has been said in the order that every Saturday and Sunday of the year will be a public holiday for government employees. In Kota district, the day coming after Janmashtami will automatically be considered as a holiday instead of Janmashtami. Muslim holidays will depend on the sighting of the moon. Every employee can choose any two holidays from the list of optional holidays and avail them.

This will be the longest weekend in April

According to the order, the longest five-day weekend will be in the month of April. There will be a holiday of 5 days from 10th to 14th April. There will be holiday on Saturday and Sunday along with Mahavir Jayanti, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jayanti and Ambedkar Jayanti. However, in 2025, government employees will get 11 less leaves than this year. This will happen due to second government holiday on Sunday or Saturday.
