Camp for nomadic community in Bharatpur a mere formality

Bharatpur News Desk: The camps being organized from December 3 to December 11 for the liberated, nomadic and semi-nomadic communities in Deeg city have become a mere formality. Due to the absence of officials from government departments in these camps, people are unable to avail the benefits of government schemes.

As per the instructions of District Collector Utsav Kaushal, these camps are being organized by the Municipal Council Deeg. In the camp, there was a plan to make certificates related to Aadhaar card, Jan Aadhaar, original residence certificate and pension of the people of the community.

Inconvenience due to absence of officers Most of the time only one or two officers are present in the camps, due to which the work is being done at a slow pace. People wait for the officials in the camp all day long, but return disappointed in the evening.

Municipal Council Commissioner Kuldeep Singh said in this regard that action will be taken after getting information about the matter.
