Tonk : A camp will be organized at Government PG College, Bahir Road on Friday regarding Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme. It will be organized under the joint aegis of Social Justice and Empowerment Department and Minority Department. In this, minority college students will be motivated to take advantage of this scheme.
Minority District Officer Nitesh Jain said that this camp will start from 11 am on Friday. Its benefit will be available to all those students of minority community who are studying in Arts, Science and Commerce faculty of government undergraduate and postgraduate colleges and study by renting rooms. For such students, the amount spent by the government on food, electricity, water and accommodation facilities will be given to the eligible students under Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme.
District Minority Welfare Officer Nitesh Jain said that the last date to apply for the scheme is November 30. More information related to the application is available on the website of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. Every student will be given Rs 20 thousand annually.
