Candidates filed 5 nominations in 5 days for Rajasthan by-election, 2 from Dausa and 1 each from the remaining 3 assembly constituencies.

Jaipur : The process of nomination for the assembly by-election in Rajasthan intensified on Tuesday. Now five nominations have been submitted in four assembly constituencies, whereas till Monday only one nomination had come for Dausa assembly constituency. According to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, till Tuesday, 2 nominations had been submitted in Dausa, while in Deoli-Uniara, Salumber And in Chaurasi assembly constituency, the account was opened on Tuesday with 1-1 nominations. On Tuesday, Makhanlal Meena filed nomination in Dausa as an independent candidate, while in Deoli-Uniara, Yogesh Kumar Sharma of RTORP and Ambedkarite Party of India in Salumber. IPGP’s Shankar Lal Bamnia filed nomination in Kesulal and Chaurasi. One nomination has already been submitted in Dausa.

Nominations will be done till October 25

The nomination process for the by-elections in 7 assembly constituencies of Rajasthan had started on October 18. Nomination papers can be submitted till 3 pm on October 25. Those who will be tested on 28th October and names can be withdrawn till 30th October. After this, voting for the candidates in the fray will be held on November 13.
