Bhilwara : A speeding car hit a young man riding a bike. The bike rider was seriously injured in the accident. The people present at the spot took him to the private hospital of the city. Where the duty doctor declared him dead. The accident happened on Monday evening at Salra intersection in Subhashnagar police station area of Bhilwara.
Subhashnagar police station head constable Mohammad Hussain said – Chhotu Lal son of Heera Lal Jat (40), living in Salra of the police station area, was going from Salra to Suwana on Monday evening. Meanwhile, he was hit by a speeding car at Salra intersection itself. The young man died in the accident.
After the accident, the driver drove away the car. The youth riding the bike was seriously injured in the accident. People gathered at the spot brought him to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital for treatment in a private vehicle. When his condition became serious, he was referred to a higher centre. Then the family took the injured Chhotu to the private hospital of the city for treatment where late in the night the duty doctor declared him dead.
The family reached the mortuary of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital to get the postmortem of the body done. Today on Tuesday, the police station reached the mortuary and got the postmortem done in the presence of the family members and handed over the body to the family members. Based on the report of the family members, the police registered a case against the car driver and started investigation.
