Buxar, November 15 (IANS). A case of religious conversion has come to light from Buxar district of Bihar. People whose names have come to light in this game of conversion. The police have registered a case against all of them.
According to the information, innocent village people are being forcibly converted by Christian missionaries in the district. The police administration has started tightening the noose against the people involved in this game of conversion.
This conversion was exposed when some women were being baptized (a tradition of Christians) by the Christian priest on the demand of some women by removing their vermilion and immersing them in water. Then people of Hindu organization reached the spot and attacked.
After this, Hindu organizations lodged a written complaint in this regard in the concerned police station. The police have now also started efforts to identify other people involved in the game of conversion.
Till now, a case has been registered against Raju Masih, Raj Masih and two women in this matter.
After registering the case, the police have arrested Tamil Nadu residents Samuel, Rajeev Masih, Ravi Ranjan Masih in this case. All these people are also being interrogated in the matter of conversion, so that the entire situation can become clear.
When Samuel, a member of the Christian organization, was asked what he was doing, he said that we were here by telling people about Jesus Christ and baptizing them.
Meanwhile, when he was asked what baptism is, he said that it is a tradition of the Christian community, which we follow, those who believe in the Lord Jesus. They are baptized.
At the same time, when he was asked what he was doing here, he said that we have come here to tell people about Jesus Christ.
On the other hand, regarding this incident, BJP Youth District President Durgesh Upadhyay said that the game of conversion is going on in full swing in the district. As soon as we came to know about it, we reached the spot. Innocent village people, poor people and uneducated people are being converted into Christians by luring them. We cannot accept this situation at any cost.
Local resident Sonu Dwivedi said that conversion is taking place on a large scale in the district. Innocent people are being seduced and converted. Many people are involved in this game.
District Officer Buxar Anshul Aggarwal said, “Such a matter came to our notice through the press, we will take whatever action is as per the rules and as per the law. “Proper action will be taken in this matter.”
