The surprising thing is that the government servant of the Excise Department was the mastermind in this fraud. This Babu of the Excise Department, along with the liquor contractors, defrauded the Rajasthan Government of more than Rs 8.5 crore. In this case, Cyber ​​​​Station Police and Excise Department have detected cyber fraud of Rs 8.54 crore and arrested four people. When the matter came to light, there was a stir in the department. This cunning Babu has committed this fraud by tampering with the adjustment head of the excise software. After a case was registered in this regard, this Babu and three contractors have been arrested.

Embezzled crores of rupees in collaboration with liquor contractor

The accused who have been arrested by Cyber ​​Station Police. In that, LDC employee of Excise Department, Ajay Kumar is the mastermind of the entire matter. Who has colluded with some contractors by luring their partners and carried out the case of embezzlement worth crores.

Grabbed the excise duty itself

LDC employee Ajay Kumar credited the amount of excise duty, basic license fee and permit fee deposited by 29 contractors without submitting the challan. After this, he himself embezzled the amount with the help of others. As soon as the District Excise Officer got wind of this, he registered cases in different police stations and informed the Excise Commissioner about the entire matter. Later, the cases registered in different police stations were shifted to Cyber ​​Police Station on the instructions of SP Jai Yadav and the matter was investigated.

About 4 crore IP addresses were scanned

Cyber ​​Police Station Officer Subhash Kumar said that on October 1, 2024, Excise Inspector Vidyadhar had filed a case in this regard at Sahwa police station. Since the case was of online fraud, its investigation was given to the cyber police station of Churu. Cyber ​​police station took records from the excise office and collected digital evidence and about 4 crore IP addresses were searched. After this, Ajay Kumar, resident of Khemana village of Rajgarh, LDC of Excise Department, was arrested. Along with him, Rajkumar, resident of Birmi in Sidhmukh, Vikas Yadav of Hamirwas and Narendra of Nosaria, Ratangarh have been arrested. It is said that accused Babu Ajay Kumar has been working in Raigarh Circle since 2016.
