Dausa News Desk: Taking action in the case of two accused of rape and kidnapping escaping from police custody in Lalsot police station, the police has arrested the main accused in the case, Akshay Meena. The search for one accused is going on.
The investigating officer of the case and DSP Dilip Meena said that two accused were detained by the police on December 6 in the case of kidnapping and rape of a minor in the police station. During the night, both the accused pushed the sentry and ran away on the pretext of drinking water. In this regard, different police teams made several efforts and based on the input received from the cyber cell, the main accused, Akshay Meena, resident of Thunidhirajpura, has been arrested. Two different police teams are making efforts to catch the second accused, Manish Meena, who is absconding in the case. The accused will be arrested soon.
Dausa SP Ranjita Sharma had suspended sentry Ajit Singh in connection with the escape of the two accused arrested in the POCSO and rape case with a minor from police custody.
