CCTV cameras have been installed in Jalore : Malwara on the initiative of the Sarpanch and now the entire town will be under the surveillance of cameras. Fears of possible untoward incidents will be put to rest and the footage will be useful if needed. This initiative is special to stop undesirable activities. 19 cameras have been installed by Malwara Gram Panchayat. In which vehicles passing through the village and going to the state highway will also be monitored. An expenditure of Rs 6 lakh has been made for this work. Keeping in view the demand of the villagers, cameras will still be installed in other public places. Along with cameras, a computer has also been setup. Businessman Phularam Mali said that it is a commendable initiative regarding the security arrangements of Malwara Gram Panchayat. CCTV cameras will reduce the incidence of theft in the market and crime will also be curbed.
Crime will reduce due to installation of CCTV cameras
Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Pradeep Singh Deval said that the main objective of installing CCTV cameras in the village is the security of the village. Now CCTV cameras have been installed, which will reduce crime in the village. These cameras will also prove helpful for the police.
