Tonk : With the Bisalpur dam, which is called the lifeline of Jaipur, Ajmer and Tonk district, being fully filled and overflowing for the seventh time, the farmers of the district are once again happy that they will get irrigation water. In such a situation, people are celebrating a festival called ‘Gaon Bahar’ in Rajmahal town of Tonk district today, in which thousands of people from the district as well as Kota, Bundi, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Ajmer, Sawaimadhopur districts will gather in Rajmahal today.
Earlier this festival was celebrated during the overflowing of the dam in 2022. Regarding the festival, Jagran and Tejaji’s Bindori were taken out on Sunday night to the tune of Algojo and Dholak beats, which went to all the main temples of the village through the main market of the village. At the same time, early in the morning, the Chhatri reached the intersection where all the cattle owners took their animals out from under the lamp of Tejaji. Farmers believe that by doing this their animals will not get any kind of disease. Today, on Monday, Churma Bati will be made in every house of the village and offered to God. At the same time, in this festival, people here invite their relatives as well as acquaintances. A fair will be organized in the village on Monday evening in which a crowd of thousands of women and men will gather.
