Jaipur : Jaipur Central Government is serious about the works of Solar Power Storage Plant, PM Surya Ghar Yojana and Smart Meter in Rajasthan. Prime Minister’s Advisor Tarun Kapoor held a meeting with officials of the Energy Department and Electricity Corporations on Tuesday and has given instructions to speed up the progress of these works. Kapoor also talked about the energy sector schemes in the state, the status of renewable purchase obligation and the problems of developers regarding solar plants.
Along with this, discussions were held with representatives of big companies working in renewable energy. ACS Alok and other officials of the Energy Department were present in the meeting. PM Modi’s advisor Tarun Kapoor also visited Rajasthan and held a meeting with Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant and other officials regarding the vision of investment and future development in the state. During this period, discussions were also held regarding making roadmap for other infrastructure related projects. The Central Government is serious about the power storage plant to promote solar energy in the state, so that storage can be done in Western Rajasthan.
