New Delhi, November 24 (IANS). Indian leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has been bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 18 crore in the IPL mega auction. Chahal is very happy to join the new team with a big money.
The leg spinner said that he deserved this price after not being retained by Rajasthan Royals.
Chahal said on JioCinema, “I was quite nervous and anxious because this amount is equal to the total amount I have received in the last three seasons. I feel I deserve this price. Whatever price I have been bought for, it is Deserves it.”
He said, “Sometimes teams don’t have the purse and they have to plan the entire squad for the main auction. For me, getting selected means that these two months will help you improve your game. Whether Whether you are young or senior, you get a chance to learn a lot from this platform.
On the possibility of playing with Arshdeep Singh and Shreyas Iyer in the future, who were bought by Punjab for Rs 18 crore and Rs 26.75 crore respectively, Chahal said, “I am very excited about it because I have a good relationship with Shreyas Iyer and Arshdeep Singh. Recalling the time he spent with fellow spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, Chahal said that he learned a lot from the experienced bowler.
