Rajasthan : Monsoon will gain momentum from Saturday as the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal will turn into a low pressure area. Light to moderate rain is expected in some parts of Kota, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Jaipur divisions during the next 48 hours. On Friday, there was bright sunshine along with drizzle in Jaipur and other places. Around seven o’clock in the evening, there was sudden thunder along with strong winds. Light rain occurred in Tonk Road, JLN Marg, Sanganer, Jagatpura, Malviya Nagar.
Here, rain accompanied by thundershowers was recorded at some places in western Rajasthan and some places in eastern Rajasthan. 44.4 mm rain was recorded in Mount Abu and 48.0 mm rain was recorded in Dhaba of Hanumangarh. According to Jaipur Meteorological Center, 3 mm rain was recorded in Jaipur, 3 in Sikar, 7.1 in Dabok, 10.2 in Ajmer, 12 in Dungarpur, 5 in Jalore, 11.4 mm in Sri Ganganagar.
