Jodhpur News Desk: Before Diwali, the clouds of western disturbance cleared the sky a lot last evening. Due to rain, dust particles, gases and other harmful substances washed away, thereby purifying the climate. A week later, the air quality index in Jodhpur fell below 100 and was measured at 76 micrograms per cubic metre. The city residents got a lot of relief due to reduction in air pollution. There was light to moderate rain in Suryanagari after Monday evening, due to which the air pollutants were washed away with the rain water. Due to rain, the weather remained pink and cold last night. The temperature on Tuesday morning was 22.1 degrees. The sun was out during the day, but no heat was felt. The mercury was 34.4 degrees in the afternoon, which was one and a half degrees less than normal. The day remained pleasant due to drop in temperature and humidity in the air.
