Sawai Madhopur : Cheetahs will soon be released from the Koon forest. As soon as they leave, their movements will be monitored. According to forest officials, wherever the cheetahs move, the forest department team will provide them security and a corridor will be decided accordingly. A joint meeting was held here on Friday between forest officials of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan regarding the Cheetah Corridor Project. In this, various points regarding the Cheetah Corridor Project were discussed in detail. In the meeting, it was decided to soon sign an MOU at the government level regarding the Cheetah Project. 7 districts can be included in the corridor
The corridor may include forest area of a total of 27 divisions of MP, UP and Rajasthan. In this, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Morena, Ashok Nagar, Guna, Neemuch Mandsaur districts of Madhya Pradesh and Sawai Madhopur, Baran, Kota, Karauli, Jhalawar, Bundi and Chittorgarh districts of Rajasthan and other forest areas which will be connected with the Cheetah Movement will become part of this corridor. . Jhansi and Lalitpur forest areas of UP will also be included in this project.
