Chhattisgarh will not help Rajasthan in coal supply, know the big reason

Jaipur : Rajasthan government did not get permission to use 91.21 hectares of forest land of Parsa East and Kanta Basan (PEKB) coal block in Hasdeo Aranya coal field of Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai made it clear. Chhattisgarh CM Vishnudev Sai said that no such permission has been given to the Rajasthan government. While answering the question of journalists, he said that there might have been a mistake from their side, it is not so from our side.

CM Bhajanlal had thanked

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma wrote a letter to the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh thanking him for allowing the use of forest land for coal mining. He wrote that the supply of coal will help Rajasthan’s 4340 MW thermal power projects.

Former CM Ashok Gehlot raised the question

Now former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has raised questions. He wrote a post on social media ‘X’, “It is very surprising that there is a contradiction in the statements of the Chief Minister of Rajasthan and the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal ji claims that the Chhattisgarh government has given permission to use 91.21 hectares of forest land of Parsa East and Kanta Basan (PEKB) coal block operated in Hasdeo Aranya Coalfield to supply coal to the power plants of Rajasthan, but today Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai says that there is no such thing.”

“The public should be told the truth about this”

He wrote, “The people of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh should be told the truth about this. Are the officers misleading the two Chief Ministers on this issue or are both the Chief Ministers together misleading the public as per their political interests. Both the governments need to be sensitive on an important issue like electricity, but who will benefit from such misleading politics?”
