Child slips and falls into 80 feet deep well in Dausa Lalsot, dies

Dausa : In preparation for going to school, a 6 year old child went to take bath in the well with his elder sister. During this, his foot slipped and he fell into an 80 feet deep well. When the sister started screaming, the family and village people gathered on the spot. The rescue team took out the body in 4 hours. The accident occurred at 9 am on Tuesday in village Dhaun of Khathumber Gram Panchayat of Lalsot police station area of ​​Dausa district. The body was taken out at 2 pm.

The child’s cousin Bhajan Lal Gurjar told – Rishabh was a first class student in the government school of the same village. His school time was at 10 in the morning. Earlier, he had gone to the well with his elder sister Sheenu at 9 in the morning to take bath. There is a well only 50 feet away from the house.

Rishabh was walking ahead and Sheenu was walking behind. A path leads from the well where the parapet (wall around the well) is level with the ground. There Rishabh’s foot slipped and he fell into the well. Seeing this, Sheenu screamed loudly and ran towards the field.

Bhajan Lal Gurjar told- There was no one in the house at the time of the incident. Rishabh’s mother Geeta Devi and other family members had gone to the fields. His uncle had gone to Dausa for some work. When Sheenu told about Rishabh falling into the well, the family members and villagers left their work and ran towards the well. Within no time a crowd gathered there. There is about 40 feet of water in the well.
