Chittorgarh : There is good news for the cattle rearers of Chittorgarh state. Their cattle can be treated with better equipment at the veterinarian and hospital near the village. 19 veterinary hospitals operating in the state have been converted into first class hospitals. Whereas 98 veterinary sub-centres have been upgraded to veterinary centres. Its administrative and financial approval has also been issued. Among these, Nikumbh of Chittorgarh has been upgraded to first class hospital. Whereas Barwai, Sangriya and Alod sub-centres have been upgraded into veterinary hospitals. Upgrading 98 sub centers will provide more benefits than upgrading veterinary hospitals. Only compounders are appointed at sub-centres. Whereas veterinarians will be appointed at the veterinary center. Similarly, cattle herders in the areas of hospitals being upgraded to first class hospitals will be able to get the services of senior veterinary officers.
Will get better treatment facilities

In the upgraded sub-centres, 98 new posts of Veterinary Officer, 87 of Livestock Attendant and 22 new posts of Animal Attendant have been created. Whereas in the first category upgraded hospitals, the posts of Senior Veterinary Officer, Livestock Assistant, Livestock Attendant and Animal Attendant are new. In the first category, the posts of Veterinary Officer, Veterinary Assistant and Livestock Assistant have been abolished.
