Chittorgarh : Parsoli police of Chittorgarh Begun area, during patrolling on Friday night, arrested two accused who had come to deal in drugs near Ruparel Dam. One of these accused was absconding for a year after being released from Shahpura jail on interim bail. Parsoli police station officer Prem Singh said that on the instructions of SP Sudhir Joshi, action was taken to stop drug smuggling and arrest the absconding warrantees. During patrolling, the police saw an unnumbered Swift car, which was hidden in the bushes, on the unpaved road between village Naal and Ruparel Dam. Two people standing near the car started running away after seeing the police. The police chased and caught them. The arrested accused were hiding their identity and giving false information. Station Officer Prem Singh said that this action will not only stop drug smuggling but will also help in catching the absconding criminals. Investigation is ongoing.
Identification and criminal records of the accused
The police identified both the accused using Rajkaap Photo app and revealed their criminal records. Mohammad Isfaq Luhar, resident of Ward 39, Churu, accused in case 8/18, 29, 482 under NDPS Act registered in Bhilwara Sadar police station. He was absconding for a year after being released on interim bail from Shahpura jail. Avil son Sahabuddin was a resident of Ramgarh Sethan village of Sikar district. Both the accused had come to deal in drugs. Police are interrogating them to find out the person with whom they were supposed to make the deal.RajKap Photo App developed by Rajasthan Police played an important role in identifying the accused.
