Chittorgarh : After the demise of former royal family member of Udaipur and former MP Mahendra Singh Mewar, now the coronation ceremony of his son Vishwaraj Singh Mewar will be held. Vishvaraj Singh Mewar will be the 77th Diwan of Eklingnathji to sit on this throne. There is to be a tradition of coronation of Vishvaraj Singh at Chittorgarh fort. There is enthusiasm among the people of Chittorgarh regarding this. At the same time, preparations are being made by Jauhar Smriti Sansthan. More than 10 thousand people are expected to come here. Heads of many royal families will also attend this ceremony. At the same time, the programs will be started with Havan and Yagya.
Programs will start from morning
The coronation ceremony is going to be organized after 493 years at Fateh Prakash Mahal located in Chittorgarh Fort on 25th November. Meetings are being held by the officials of Jauhar Smriti Sansthan regarding the preparations for this event. General Secretary Tejpal Singh said that during the coronation ceremony, Havan and Yagya will start from around 6.30 am on Monday. The premises of Fatah Prakash Mahal is large and hence the event is also organized here.
MLA Vishvaraj Singh will come to Mewar, only after that the coronation ceremony will be performed first thing in the morning. Then he will sit on the throne and follow his tradition that has been going on for years. After this he will wear the turban. Then leaving from here we will see Dhuni in the royal palace of Udaipur. After this, after visiting King Ekling Nathji of Mewar, the tradition of Rang Dastur will be performed at his residence Samor Bagh.
Earlier the event was held at Rajtila
He told that during this time the heads of the royal families of the entire state will come. MPs and five MLAs are also likely to come. Apart from this, everyone has been given card regarding turban custom. No one has been invited separately. This is a big program in Chittorgarh so everyone should come. It is special for the public, hence the people of Chittorgarh can participate in it. He said that it is estimated that more than 10 thousand people can join it. Preparations are being made accordingly. Arrangements will be made to ensure that everyone gets food according to the number of people who come. In ancient times, this event used to be held at Rajtila. The population was less then. Now due to abundance, it is being done at Fatah Prakash Mahal.
