Chittorgarh Two smugglers arrested with 329 kg Dodachura, sent to jail

Chittorgarh : Chittorgarh Kotwali Police has seized 329 kg 585 grams of doda powder from a car and arrested two smugglers. While escaping from the police, the smugglers were driving at high speed. But the car became unbalanced and fell into the ditch. District Superintendent of Police Sudhir Joshi said – Under the leadership of Police Officer Sanjeev Swami, a blockade was being made near the canal on the way from Kheda to Ramchowk of Bhairusingh ji. During the blockade, a Creta car was seen coming at high speed from Ramchowk village. As soon as the driver saw the blockade, he turned the car around and started taking it towards Ram Chowk village. The car was moving at such a high speed that after reaching Dhadan pond, it became unbalanced and fell into the ditch. The chasing police had also reached the spot. As soon as they saw the police, both the driver and his companion left the car and tried to run away. But the police caught both of them from behind.

19 bags of sawdust were kept in the car.

When the police asked the names of both of them, the driver told his name as Chhotu Singh (32), son of Omkar Singh Panwar, resident of Sankalkheda of Bijaypur police station and his companion told his name as Kaluram (28), son of Udayram Gurjar, resident of Ambaberi of Bijaypur police station. When asked the reason for running away, both of them did not answer. On this the police searched both the vehicles. During the search of the car, 19 plastic bags were found kept in the car. When everyone was taken out and weighed, 329 kg 585 grams of doda powder was found in it. Police arrested both the accused and seized Dodachura. Constables Omprakash, Dharmendra Singh, Laxman Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Mukesh Kumar were involved in this action.
