Chittorgarh : Chittorgarh Police has revealed the case of theft of a truck loaded with goods worth Rs 52 lakh going from Surat to Jaipur. The truck was stolen by its owner and son with the help of other accused. The truck owner had conspired to commit this theft to repay his loan. Police arrested five accused. Also seized container, two bikes and a Maruti van. The stolen truck is yet to be recovered. The entire cargo of the truck was shifted into a container and parked on the highway near Bhadsoda. The matter is of Bhupalsagar police station area.

District Superintendent of Police Sudhir Joshi said on Tuesday that on November 30, truck driver Kailash son of Dalchandra Dholi, resident of Aazankheda, Akola, had lodged a report of truck theft. The truck was loaded with sarees worth Rs 52 lakh from Surat which were to be supplied to Jaipur. The truck was parked outside the hotel only on the instructions of the truck owner’s son Naresh Regar. After registering the case, a team was formed under the supervision of Kapasan DSP Harji Lal Yadav and the leadership of Police Officer Tulsiram. Cyber ​​cell team was also involved in this entire matter.

Theft was committed to repay a loan of Rs 25 lakh.

Devilal Regar, the owner of the truck in which the goods were loaded, and his son Naresh Regar had planned it 15-20 days in advance with their friends. Devilal Regar had a loan of Rs 25 lakh. To repay this, a friend advised him to steal. Devi Lal involved a container owner Madanlal son of Deva Jatiya, resident of Akola, in this case. Apart from this, the truck owner’s son Naresh included his brother-in-law Nathdwara, Rajsamand resident Manish son Devi Lal Regar and Madan’s neighbor Akola resident Ganesh son Udaylal Jatiya in the planning by promising them good money. All five accused were arrested. Another accused Ganesh’s neighbor Narpat Singh was also involved in this entire case, who took the truck to Madhya Pradesh for the purpose of hiding it. Narpat Singh is in the custody of the police but his interrogation is still going on. At the same time, it is being told that the person giving the opinion is also a BJP leader. But no action has been taken in this regard yet.

After the theft, father and son kept pretending in front of the police

After writing the report, the truck driver and his son continued to pretend in front of the police. Kept demanding immediate action. Whereas driver Kailash Dholi had no knowledge about this matter. Bhupalsagar police interrogated both of them and after being satisfied with their statements, released them. Cyber ​​team was again added in this case. Despite having doubts from the beginning, the police could not take any action against the father and son. When the CCTV footage was seen, the truck was brought back through the same route by which it was taken after the theft. Then when all the footage of that route was viewed, a Maruti van was seen moving back and forth. There was an SLR logo on the back of the Maruti van, on the basis of which the owner of the Maruti van was identified. After that, when the cyber team and the police team together interrogated the truck owner, he confessed to the crime. After that the police team raided different places and caught all the accused.

Another driver was about to come to pick up the container.

As per the planning, the accused stole the truck along with the goods and took it to a deserted area in Fatehnagar circle. Other accused were already present there with the container. Goods worth Rs 52 lakh were shifted from truck to container. The container was taken and hidden in the parking lot of Hotel Samrat near Bhadsoda Circle on Chittorgarh-Udaipur Highway. Another driver was to come in the morning to collect the container but before that all the accused were caught and the police recovered the container. Apart from this, the number plate of the stolen truck and the name written on the truck were changed and after saving it at toll points, it was hidden in some place in Madhya Pradesh. Which is yet to be recovered. Police Officer Kapasan Ratan Singh, ASI Radheshyam, Tejmal, Head Constable Pushpendra Singh, Constable Sunil Kumar, Shishpal, Rajpal were involved in this action. In this, Head Constable Rajkumar and Constable Ramavtar from Cyber ​​Cell have played a special role.
