Churu : Police has registered a case against a private hospital in Sadulpur city of Churu district for negligence in the treatment of a woman suffering from labor and death of the newborn in the woman’s womb. The condition of the woman also remains critical. After the incident, many people including the victim’s family protested. Police Station Officer Pushpendra Singh Jhajhariya said that Wasim Beg, son of Nisar Beg, resident of ward no. 20 Rajgarh town registered a case and said that on 25th November at 7 pm, his wife Spat Bano was brought to a private hospital in the city to gynecologist Dr. Gulab Kumari due to labor pain and the doctor said that it was time for delivery. Has not happened. Tomorrow morning you should get yourself checked again and also told that his wife is having her second delivery and the first delivery was also done through operation. On this the doctor said that do not worry, the delivery will be done without operation. In the registered case, it was told that as per the doctor’s advice, he again came to the hospital with his wife at 6 am on 26th November. A female employee was found in the hospital who talked to the doctor and told that the delivery case from last night had come. Later the female employee said the doctor would reach in ten minutes. Saying this his wife was admitted.
Doctor said operation will have to be done
When she asked about the situation, the doctor said, don’t worry, I will give you a normal delivery. After that, when his wife’s labor pain suddenly increased, the doctor said that there was no other option. Delivery will have to be done through operation only.
Police registered a case
The complainant further said that after that the formalities of the operation continued for half an hour. After that the operation was done, by then the newborn had died in the stomach. His wife’s condition also became critical. On this the doctor said that your wife is unwell, take her to another hospital. It is alleged that due to the negligence of Dr. Gulab Kumari, his child died and his wife is on her deathbed. Police have registered the case and started investigation.
