Churu : District level Diamond Jubilee Mini Jamboree of Scout Guide will be inaugurated on Friday at the Tricolor Stadium of Government SBD College, Sardarshahar. For this, more than 250 tents have been prepared in the stadium premises. More than 2500 scouts and guides will stay in these tents and will participate in various activities for the next six days. There will be a team of 9 students and one teacher in each tent. The jamboree will conclude on December 4.
Principal Director CO Scout Mahipal Singh Tanwar said that scouts and guides from 250 government and private schools of the district are participating in the Jamboree. A team of nine has been called from each school. The opening ceremony of the mini jamboree will be held on Friday at 4 pm. Inauguration of the exhibition on Saturday 30th November at 11 am, Ethnic Fashion Show on 1st December at 9 am, City Tour at 2 pm, Tableau display on 2nd December at 9 am, Food Plaza at 3 pm, Vishal Camp Flame at 7.30 pm, on 3rd December Mangaldeep program will be organized at 7.30 pm and all religion prayer meeting and prize distribution ceremony will be organized on 4th December.
The objective of Jamboree is to develop children at physical, intellectual and other levels.
The Mini Jamboree will have various activities related to the development of physical, intellectual, social, spiritual and emotional capabilities of the Scout Guides as responsible citizens. During this time, boys and girls will be provided opportunities to read and practice open lessons of world brotherhood, mutual love, cooperation, group spirit and national emotional unity. 1260 Scouts, 140 Scouters, 450 Guides and 50 Guiders, 50 staff members, 150 Rovers and 100 Rangers, 100 officers and others will participate in this jamboree.
