Churu : Churu’s Navdurga Vehicle Fitness Center has suspended the registration of the center for six months by the Transport Department, Jaipur for making fake certificates for 51 out of 85 vehicles without inviting them. On November 7, Navdurga Vehicle Fitness Center Churu had made the fitness certificate of a private school bus RJ 07 PA 4696 of Rajgarh, 70 km away, even though the said vehicle did not appear in the CCTV footage of the fitness centre. This issue was published prominently and continuously. Navdurga Vehicle Fitness Centre, Churu, had issued fitness certificates to 34 vehicles after their arrival at the centre. Out of them, apart from only one bus and one truck, all the other 32 vehicles were light motor vehicles. Out of 51, 27 heavy vehicles like bus, truck, trailer, dumper etc. were issued fake certificates without calling them at the centre. Due to which question marks were raised on the centre. Even after investigation, the fitness operator was issuing fitness certificates arbitrarily.
Transport Inspector Robin Singh of DTO office Churu had prepared the investigation report on 8th November and sent it to RTO PL Bamnia. The RTO had written a letter to the Transport Department to take action against the fitness centre. The department has taken action against Navdurga Vehicle Fitness Center and canceled its registration for six months. It is noteworthy that most of the fitness centers are owned by people with political influence who, due to their reach, ignore the rules and prepare fake certificates. Churu’s acting DTO Tarachand Banjara said that the department officials have canceled the registration of Navdurga Vehicle Fitness Centre, Churu for six months. The online ID of the fitness center has been closed, due to which it will not be able to issue the fitness certificate. Navdurga Vahan Fitness Centre, Churu is proprietor of Ranvir Kaswa, who is the President of Churu Bus Union. Ranveer Kaswa’s two buses are under siege in the DTO, Churu office after they were found carrying passengers even after RC surrender.
