Churu: Road accidents can be prevented through awareness.

On the initiative of many departments including Churu : Churu District Administration, on World Remembrance Day on Sunday, the dead of road accidents in the district were paid tribute by organizing a program at Ramlila Maidan. During the program, the ambulance personnel and trauma nursing personnel who took the road accident injured to the hospital on time were honored by wearing helmets. Before this, a candle march was taken out from Maru Park to Ramlila Maidan via Ranisati Square, Ajmer Stand, Dujod Darwaza. Chief guest at the program, Sikar Range Inspector General of Police Satyendra Singh said that deaths in road accidents are a matter of utmost concern. Number of road accidents: Compared to other crimes, at least 50 times more people die in road accidents. He said that when an unexpected incident happens like a road accident, an entire family gets scattered.

There is no provision of road accident law, it can be prevented. In this, the biggest responsibility lies with the driver himself. Special guest of the program, Additional District Collector Ratan Kumar said that the youth between 18 to 30 years of age die most in road accidents. Anyone may have been negligent, but family members also have to bear the loss. He said that instead of making videos of those injured in road accidents, people should do the noble work of taking them to the hospital at the right time so that their lives can be saved. Regional Transport Officer PL Bamnia said that various departments and voluntary organizations have participated in the program. Additional Regional Transport Officer and Nodal Officer Dr. Virendra Singh Rathod said that every year in the third week of November, the department pays tribute to the dead in road accidents. He said that 108 medical personnel play an important role in taking the injured to hospitals in road accidents. The program was addressed by former Additional District Collector Ishwar Singh Rathod, Balwant Singh Chirana, Omprakash Sharma, Lalit Kumar etc. The program was conducted by lecturer Diet Saroj Loyal. Sunil Vishnoi, Govind Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Narendra Kumar, Mahesh Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Subhash, Ravikant, Subhash Thalod, Gorvardhan, Pyarelal, Sardar Singh, Mukesh Sheshma, Dharamveer, Sandeep were present in the program. , Ashok Dhaka, Ghisaram Meel, Amrita Devi, Shanti Devi, Satyapal, Arsad Beg were honoured.
