Churu Sadulpur police took out a procession of thieves, jewelery worth lakhs recovered

Churu : Sadulpur Police took out a foot procession of the theft accused and presented them in the court. According to the information, under the direction of Jai Yadav, IPS Superintendent of Police, Churu and the team of Kishori Lal, Additional Superintendent of Police, Rajgarh, Nishchay Prasad, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Vrit Rajgarh, a special team was formed to arrest the accused of theft. On 18 November 2024, a case of theft was registered in Police Station Rajgarh under Case No. 503/2024, Section 331(3), 305 BNS 2023. In this case, on November 12, 2024, gold and silver jewelery worth about Rs 10 lakh was stolen by breaking the lock of a house in Jyoti Nagar, Rajgarh.

On receiving information about the theft, the police reached the spot and inspected the spot and checked more than 100 CCTV cameras of the city. On receiving leads from technical support, a team was sent to Punjab/Haryana. The team chased about 700 kilometers and arrested two accused from Punjab and solved the theft incident in just three days.

Gold jewelery worth Rs 6 lakh recovered from the possession of the accused

During investigation on Wednesday, stolen gold jewelery was recovered from accused Jitendra Kumar and Manoj Kumar. The value of the jewelery recovered from the possession of the accused was said to be around Rs 6 lakh. The arrested accused were Jitendra Kumar alias Raju (36), resident of Committee Gate, Old Kula Panthi, Raikot, District Ludhiana, Punjab, and Mani alias Manoj (29), resident of Majitha Road, Amritsar. , Punjab, was arrested. Stolen jewelery has been recovered from the possession of both the accused.
