Tonk : Naresh Meena, an independent from Deoli-Uniara, who was in jail for the recent uproar in Samravata, was arrested by CID CB on a production warrant from the district jail on Wednesday. Later, he was brought to the police station and interrogated in Atru police station area of Baran district in the matter of obstructing government work etc. Later he was produced in Atru court through video conference. From where he was sent to jail till 7th December. On the orders of the court, he was again shifted to jail this evening.
Let it be known that on the day of voting on November 13, Naresh Meena, an independent candidate, had slapped SDM Amit Chaudhary over the matter of three people being forced to vote despite the voting boycott. Then at night the police and villagers came face to face.
Today at around 8 am, CID CB ASP Shyam Lal Meena from Jaipur came to the jail and brought the arrested police officer to the police station on production warrant in the case of obstructing Atru’s official work. Where after a whole day’s interrogation, Naresh Meena was presented in the Atru court through the VC. From where orders were issued to send him to jail till 7th December.
