City roads will be repaired before Diwali, order of Deputy CM Diya Kumari

Jaipur : Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has directed the Public Works Department officials to do continuous monitoring in the field for the next two months and get the roads damaged by rain repaired before Diwali. In the department’s review meeting held in Nirman Bhawan on Wednesday, Diya Kumari said that the Chief Engineer should stay in the field for seven days continuously and monitor the road works. She said that there should be no compromise with the quality of roads. Such a system should be made that the contractor who builds the road must mandatorily repair the road if it gets damaged during the guarantee period.

PWD Seva App launched

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari launched the Rajasthan PWD Seva App. This app will develop a strong inspection system to improve and maintain the quality of the roads in the state.
