Clash between two groups after collision with scooter on Nagaur B-Road, created ruckus

Nagaur : A dispute broke out after a boy was hit by a scooter on B-Road of Nagaur Kotwali police station area. A scuffle broke out between the two groups. Four people from one side and three from the other side were injured. Police have registered the case from both the parties. According to the police, Uttam Khatri (23), resident of Khatripura, was going on B Road on Scooty. Suddenly a six year old innocent boy collided with his scooter. On this, Shakeel, who was sitting at the tarpaulin shop, started an altercation and the matter escalated into a fight. Two-three youths present at Shakeel’s shop also came there and nearby shopkeepers also gathered. After some time, Uttam left from there and later reached here with his brother Piyush and friend Nakul. Uttam told that he had gone to talk, during this time his father also came and then these people started fighting.

Here shopkeepers Faizal and Sahil said that Uttam, Nakul and Piyush had entered the shop and started fighting. In such a situation the matter escalated. On receiving the information, ASP Sumit Kumar, Nagaur CO Rampratap Vishnoi, Kotwali CI Vedpal Kaushik along with their team reached the spot. Shakeel was brought to the police station while Uttam and Piyush also came here. Seeing the situation, the police deployed security forces around B Road and people from both sides reached outside the police station also.

Social workers Bhojraj Saraswat, Nritya Gopal Mittal, Chaturbhuj Rankawat and others reached here and demanded ASP Sumit Kumar to arrest the culprits. They said that increasing conflict over small matters spoils the harmony. Police patrolling should be increased in such areas. On the other hand, social worker Javed Gauri and others said that there is no point in exaggerating a trivial matter. They are trying to make both the parties sit and reach a reconciliation. People from both the sides kept trying till late night to reach a settlement. There is a case of fighting after the scooter collision. Four people from one party and three including a child from the other party have been medically examined. Both the parties have given reports and action is being taken on them.
