For the assembly by-elections being held on 7 seats in Rajasthan, BJP has announced candidates for the remaining seats. BJP has made Karilal Nanoma its candidate from Chaurasi Assembly seat. Let us tell you that with this, a face-to-face contest has been decided between BJP and Congress on 7 seats in the state. In Salumbar, both BJP and Congress have placed their bets on women candidates. Let us tell you that in the by-elections, there will be a contest between BJP and Congress on five seats in the state. At the same time, a triangular contest can be seen on Chaurasi and Khinvsar seats.
Earlier BJP had announced candidates for only 6 seats. BJP has fielded Jagmohan Meena from Dausa, Shanta Devi Meena from Salumber, Rajendra Bhambu from Jhunjhunu, Sukhwant Singh from Ramgarh, Revatram Danga from Khinvsar and Rajendra Gurjar from Deoli-Uniara. At the same time, now candidates have been announced for the remaining eighty-four seats also. Here, Congress has given tickets to Deendayal Bairwa from Dausa, Reshma Meena from Salumber, Amit Ola from Jhunjhunu, Aryan Zuber Khan from Ramgarh, Ratan Chaudhary from Khinvsar, Kastur Chand Meena from Deoli Uniara and Mahesh Rot from Chaurasi. 1. Dausa Assembly Seat: Here an interesting contest will be seen between Jagmohan Meena, brother of BJP leader Kirori Lal Meena and Deendayal Bairwa of Congress. This seat is dominated by the pilot. At the same time, Kirori Meena’s reputation is at stake. BJP leader Jagmohan had contested the last assembly elections and then the Lok Sabha elections. But the party did not give the ticket both times.
Now the party wants to take advantage of Kirori Meena’s influence in East Rajasthan. That’s why his brother has been demoted. BJP is losing this seat for two consecutive times. Jagmohan Meena is a retired RAS and has been active in politics for about ten years. At the same time, Congress has placed its bet on Deendayal Bairwa, former head of Dausa. Presently his wife Bina Bairwa is the head of Lawan. Deendayal will contest the assembly elections for the first time. Sachin Pilot and Murarilal are close to Meena.
2. Salumber Assembly Seat: Here Shanta Devi Meena of BJP and Reshma Meena of Congress are face to face. Amritlal Meena’s wife has been fielded from the vacant Salumber seat after his death. She has been Sarpanch from Semari twice. When Semari got the status of municipality, Shanta Devi was nominated as the municipality president. He is currently holding the same post. The party wants to win the elections here by taking the help of sympathy. At the same time, Congress has expressed confidence in Reshma Meena, who rebelled and contested the elections from Salumbar in 2018.
3. Jhunjhunu Assembly seat: Here Rajendra Bhambu of BJP and Amit Ola of Congress are face to face. BJP has faced defeat in Jhunjhunu seat in the last elections because of Rajendra Bhambu. Bhambu had become a rebel after being denied ticket in the last elections. At the same time, Congress has made Amit Ola its candidate from Jhunjhunu. His grandfather Shishram Ola has been MP five times and MLA eight times. Father Brijendra Ola has been MLA from Jhunjhunu four times and minister twice. The third generation of the Ola family is in the fray for the assembly elections.
4. Ramgarh Assembly seat: Here an interesting contest will be seen between Sukhwant Singh of BJP and Aryan Zuber Khan of Congress. Because of Sukhwant Singh, BJP had to face a crushing defeat in the last elections. In such a situation, now BJP has expressed confidence in him. At the same time, Congress has fielded Aryan Zuber Khan, younger of late MLA Zuber Khan, in the election contest. This family has dominated the Congress politics of Ramgarh for the last 4 decades.
5. Khinvsar Assembly Seat: Here BJP’s Revatram Danga and Congress’s Dr. There will be a contest between Ratan Choudhary. Revatram Danga is the only candidate on whom BJP has placed its bet for the second consecutive time. Danga had lost to Hanuman Beniwal last time by just 2 thousand 59 votes. At the same time, Congress has nominated Dr., wife of retired DIG Sawai Singh Choudhary. Ratan Chaudhary has been fielded in the election battle.
6. Deoli-Uniara Assembly seat: Here there is a contest between Rajendra Gurjar of BJP and Kastur Chand Meena of Congress. In the last elections, BJP had given ticket to Vijay Bainsla, son of Gurjar leader Kirori Bainsla. But, he lost the election. However, the party has given a chance to former MLA Rajendra by solving the caste equation for victory here. At the same time, Congress has placed its bet on Kastur Chand Meena, who was an officer in Hindustan Zinc Limited.
7. Chaurasi Assembly Seat: BJP’s Karilal Nanoma and Congress’s Mahesh Rot will face each other on this seat. By canceling the ticket of former minister Sushil Katara, BJP has fielded a new face in the electoral battle from eighty-four seats. Karilal Nanoma is the head of Seemalwada Panchayat Samiti. At the same time, Congress has given a chance to Mahesh Rot as a young face. Mahesh Rot has been a student leader, first in NSUI and then in Youth Congress. Mahesh Roat is the sarpanch from Sansarpur Panchayat.
Triangular contest on eighty-four seats
Father and Congress have already announced candidates for eighty-four seats. But, BJP has finally announced the candidate for this seat. According to the list released by BJP on Thursday, Karilal Nanoma has been fielded in the electoral battle from Chaurasi Assembly seat. This seat will see a triangular contest between BJP’s Karilal Nanoma, BAP’s Anil Katara and Congress’s Mahesh Rot. However, BAP Party has considerable influence in this area. In such a situation, the path of BJP and Congress is not considered easy.
Still waiting for RLP list
Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) has announced candidates for only two seats. BAP Party has given ticket to Anil Katara from Chaurasi and Jitesh Katara from Salumber. At the same time, Hanuman Beniwal’s party RLP has not yet announced its candidate on any seat. It is believed that RLP can release the list of candidates any time.
By-elections will be held on these seats
It is noteworthy that by-elections are going to be held on 7 seats of Rajasthan on 13th November. By-elections are going to be held in Ramgarh (Alwar), Dausa, Jhunjhunu and Deoli-Uniara, Khinvsar, Chaurasi and Salumber seats of the state. In the results of the 2023 assembly elections, BJP had only 1 seat, while Congress had 4 seats. Apart from this, one seat was with BAP and one seat was with RLP.
