Jhunjhunu : A major road accident took place in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan this morning. An uncontrollable bus ran over a grandson, granddaughter and grandfather. The grandfather was going to drop his two children to school. The grandson and grandfather died in this accident. The granddaughter’s condition remains very critical. This accident took place in Singhana police station area.
Grandson dies along with grandfather…granddaughter is counting her breaths
The police reached the spot and told that Satyavir Singh, a retired policeman living in Raipur Jatan village, was going to drop his granddaughter Shiksha and grandson Pravesh to school like every day this morning. The granddaughter is 10 years old and the grandson is 6 years old. All three were riding on a bike. Meanwhile, just 1 kilometer before reaching the school, an uncontrolled bus hit the bike. Both Pravesh and his grandfather died after coming under the tire of the bus. Shiksha has been admitted to the hospital. Her hands and legs are badly injured.
The bus first hit a tree, then blew up the bike
Singhana police station incharge Ghur Singh said that there were more than 10 passengers in the private bus going from Khetri area to Chidawa. Near Ghadsana Khurd, the bus driver lost control due to goats suddenly coming in front of the bus. The bus went out of control and hit a tree and also hit a bike going ahead. After that the bus overturned. The passengers in the bus were also slightly injured. But in this accident two people died on the spot.

Singhana police said that the father of both the children is posted in BSF and is posted in Delhi. He has been informed about this. After this incident, there is an atmosphere of grief in the entire village. Preparations are underway to perform the last rites of grandfather and grandson together. 6-year-old Pravesh was still in KG class, while 10-year-old Diksha is studying in class 4.
