Clouds of tourism on Udaipur Monsoon Palace, 11.50 lakh people visited in two and a half years

Udaipur : Along with Pichola and Fatehsagar, the name of Sajjangarh Fort i.e. Monsoon Palace is definitely there in the mind of the tourists coming to Udaipur. Especially during the rainy season, the view of the city from the Monsoon Palace is worth seeing. The clouds kissing the hills make it feel like a hill station. The attraction of tourists towards this beautiful tourist destination can be gauged from the fact that in the last two and a half years, 11 lakh 52 thousand 473 guests have visited the Monsoon Palace. Due to this, Zoo Trust has earned an income of Rs 17 crore 21 lakh 14 thousand. Talking about the influx of tourists according to the season, from Diwali to New Year is the traditional season of tourism in Udaipur. But the beautiful valleys of Udaipur including the Monsoon Palace now attract tourists even during the rainy season. The number of tourists who visited Udaipur in August this year confirms this. This year’s highest number of 56 thousand 203 tourists reached Monsoon Palace in the month of August. Due to which Zoo Trust earned an income of Rs 1 crore 23 lakh 97 thousand. This year, till the month of October, 2 lakh 43 thousand 745 tourists have visited Sajjangarh. This resulted in an income of Rs 5 crore 27 lakh 69 thousand 615. Whereas there are still five months left for the year to end. At the same time, maximum arrival of tourists also occurs in these months.

Sajjangarh Palace And the facilities here are being expanded only with the income from tourists visiting the biological park. To increase tourist facilities, facilities like modern toilet, baby care room, digital show, folk music etc. have been increased at the palace. Lion Safari has been built in Sajjangarh Sanctuary at a cost of Rs 3 crore 45 lakh. Which will soon become a new attraction for tourists. In the current financial year, maximum number of tourists visited Sajjangarh (Monsoon) Palace during July, August and September i.e. monsoon season. The arrival of tourists in Sajjangarh Palace is increasing every year. The experience of seeing beautiful views of nature from the palace is very special. Here both heritage and nature can be seen together. Keeping in view the number of tourists, the facilities are also being increased by the Zoo Trust.
