Pratapgarh : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has given a big gift to Pratapgarh. The CM has approved the allocation of 38.3649 hectares of land in Chhoti Sadari tehsil of Pratapgarh district to the Railway Department for the Badi Sadari- Neemuch broad gauge rail project. This matter of land allocation will be placed for approval in the upcoming cabinet meeting. This 48.35 km long rail project, approved in the Railway Budget in the year 2017-18, will be completed by June 2026 at a cost of Rs 495.18 crore.
5 stations will be constructed
With this decision of the Chief Minister, the common people of Pratapgarh district will get the benefit of rail transport facility. There are many industrial units on the Neemuch route. This new rail route will also facilitate the railways in freight transport to other places including Udaipur. In this project, 5 stations will be constructed between Badi Sadari and Neemuch. The prominent ones among them are Chainpuria, Jaloda Jagir, Barwara Gujar, Chhoti Sadari and Narayani railway stations. For the Badi Sadari Neemuch broad gauge rail project, approval has been given to allot 38.3649 hectares of land to the Railway Department in Chhoti Sadari tehsil of Pratapgarh district.
The line will be connected to Neemuch in MP
This project is the extension of the railway line from Mavli to Badi Sadari. Only 2 trains were running on the old route, with the extension of this railway route it will be connected to Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh. Also, with the construction of a new alternative railway route from Udaipur to Ratlam, the number of train trips will increase. On Thursday, in a review meeting of railway projects in the state with the officials of North-Western Railway, the Chief Minister had given instructions to settle the land allocation case of important railway lines at a fast pace.
