CM Bhajan Lal leaves for South Korea and Japan tour, will do road show

Jaipur : Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma left for a 6-day visit to South Korea and Japan on Sunday. He will invite foreign investors to the Rising Rajasthan Summit during his foreign tour. A high-level delegation has also accompanied CM Bhajan Lal. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal will hold a road show in Seoul on Monday during his foreign tour. After South Korea, he will leave for Japan on September 10.

Departed with a high level delegation

The high delegation accompanying the Chief Minister on his visit to South Korea and Japan includes Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa, Additional Chief Secretary to CM Shikhar Agarwal, Principal Secretary to Government Ajitabh Sharma of the Industries and Commerce Department of Rajasthan Government and RIICO and other top officials. The Chief Minister will participate in two round-tables in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. Apart from this, he will also do a road show on Monday. The first round-table will be with the Tourism Association and the second round-table will be with the Korean Stone Association. After this, the delegation will leave for Japan on September 10. The CM will participate in the ‘Neemrana Diwas’ celebrations in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. Neemrana is a Japanese industrial area in Alwar district of Rajasthan, in which many Japanese companies work.

Will invite for investment in Rajasthan

The high-level delegation will meet representatives of several Japanese and Korean firms such as Posco International, Daikin, Hitachi, Beltekno, Samsung Healthcare, Hanwha Solution. During this visit to South Korea and Japan, the Chief Minister will meet officials of several companies from infrastructure, steel, automotive, renewable energy, electronics, heavy industry and education sectors and invite them to invest in Rajasthan.

This delegation led by the Chief Minister will also meet a group of expatriate Rajasthanis during its visit to Japan and will also participate in community programs. Indian Ambassador to Japan Sibi George and Indian Ambassador to South Korea Amit Kumar will also organize a special dinner. In connection with the preparation of ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024, the state government is going to organize investors meet in many cities of the country and the world. ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 will be organized in the capital Jaipur on 9, 10 and 11 December this year.
