Banswara : Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said in the state level Tribal Pride Day program on Friday that the state government is working rapidly for the development of the tribal area. The contribution of tribal sacrifices of Vagad is important in history and culture. The government will leave no stone unturned in the development of this sector. Under the Dharti Aaba Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, 6019 villages of the state have been selected for development.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said in the program organized on the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda that Tribal Pride Day is an opportunity to remember the contribution of tribal communities in the country’s freedom struggle and nation building. In the programme, the Chief Minister highlighted the special talents of the tribal society. CM handed over a check of Rs 114 crore to Rajivika Sakhis Indira Katara and Kamla Katara. During this, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Govind Guru Tribal Regional Development Scheme. Tribal Pride Day Fortnight is being celebrated in the state from 15th November to 26th November. In the program, former minister Mahendrajit Singh Malviya raised the ‘quota in quota’ reservation issue in Rajasthan, although the Chief Minister did not react to it.
