Jaipur : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that Rahul Gandhi only talks about breaking the country. He should think that his ancestors have done the work of breaking the country. Congress, which does politics of emergency, scams and loot in the country, only makes false promises to the public. Now the people of Jammu and Kashmir have understood their intentions. He said that Jammu and Kashmir is the crown of India. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, there has been an unprecedented improvement in the economy of Jammu and Kashmir. Not only has the infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir strengthened, but the standard of living of the people here has also increased.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma addressed various public meetings including Duggan and Duggan of Kathua in support of ‘Bani’ assembly candidate Jeevan Lal on Monday as part of the Jammu Kashmir assembly election campaign. He said that under the unprecedented leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there has been a big change in the earlier Jammu Kashmir and today’s Jammu Kashmir. Now a new ray of enthusiasm is visible among the people here, which is a symbol of the prosperity of the people moving forward with the pace of development here.
Removal of Article 370 opened the doors to development
The Chief Minister said that the removal of Article 370 has proved to be a milestone in the development of Jammu and Kashmir. This decision has not only opened the doors of development in Kashmir but has also united the whole country. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee had resigned from the Union Cabinet in protest against the imposition of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He believed that there should not be two flags and two laws in one country. In accordance with his sentiments, Article 370 was removed in Jammu and Kashmir, which led to a new beginning of development here.
He said that there was a time when bullets were fired every day in Kashmir and there was a shadow of fear. But today the atmosphere of fear has ended and the local people as well as tourists feel safe in the area. This has also increased the income of Jammu and Kashmir.
National Conference and Congress are the mother of corruption- Bhajanlal Sharma
During this, CM Bhajan Lal said that the Congress government which has ruled the country for the longest time never cared about the interests of the common people. The National Conference and Congress misled the youth of Jammu and Kashmir and threw them into the fire of terrorism and separatism, and today the same parties are coming to the people to ask for votes. He appealed to the common people to avoid such parties and leaders and vote for the BJP so that the youth of the valley get new employment opportunities.
Getting benefits of central schemes- CM
The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister is continuously working to fulfill the vision of Developed India 2047. The people of Jammu and Kashmir have also benefited from his decisions. CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that 4 crore poor families across the country got permanent houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, out of which more than 2.71 lakh families got the benefit in Jammu and Kashmir. Under the Garib Kalyan Yojana, 72.41 lakh people of the region were given free ration. Also, under the Samagra Krishi Vikas Program, schemes worth Rs 5 thousand crore are being run for the farmers of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that saffron, Bhadarwah Rajmash, Ramban Sulai honey and Kaladi Kulcha of Udhampur etc. getting GI tag has brought prosperity in the lives of the farmers here.
Praised PM Modi’s plans
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that PM Modi has connected Jammu and Kashmir with all the development schemes. India is moving on the path of peace and progress and Jammu and Kashmir is connected with it. He said that such a large number of people have come from the high mountains of Jammu and Kashmir to extend their support with great enthusiasm and zeal, which shows that the Bharatiya Janata Party will win the maximum number of seats in the region. During this, the Chief Minister appealed to make BJP candidate Jeevan Lal victorious with maximum votes. On this occasion, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dr. Jitendra Singh, local public representatives of BJP and a large number of common people were present.
