Jaipur : The 7th convocation ceremony of Mahatma Gandhi Medical University was held in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. More than 650 medical and dental students were awarded degrees in the programme. Chief guest of this program, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, while congratulating all the meritorious medical students, said that you are working in the field of service. You all will also associate this profession with service instead of ‘money’. First of all, the government is committed to improving medical and health services in Rajasthan. Digitalization of the medical system is being done in Rajasthan. CM said that ‘We will make a card and give it, every kind of information from primary health will be there in that card. Instructions have also been given to fill the vacant posts in the review meeting of the Medical Department. 50 percent of the resolution paper work has been completed.
CM launched many facilities
CM Bhajanlal said that God always supports the person who takes a resolution. We are getting support from all over the country and abroad. We have signed MOUs worth Rs 25 lakh crore, which will provide employment to about 6 lakh people. Dr Vikas Swarnkar, Chairperson and Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, gave information about the innovations in the hospital. Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated many services including the 12-storey Hematology Tower built in Mahatma Gandhi Medical University. Along with this, the state’s first robotic radiotherapy Cyber Knife S7 machine was also inaugurated in the SRCC of the hospital.
Treatment of patients became easier
With robotic radiotherapy system, any type of cancer tumor including prostate, lungs, brain, spine, liver, pancreas, kidney can be treated accurately. With this technique, there will be no need to give anesthesia to the patient during treatment. CM also inaugurated the new PET CT machine Discovery IQ Gen-2. Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa, Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar, University Founder Dr ML Swarnkar were also present in the program.
