CM Bhajanlal did not accept Kirori Lal Meena’s resignation, know what is the strategy

Jaipur : Cabinet Minister Kirori Lal Meena in Rajasthan’s Bhajanlal government has resigned. He informed about his resignation in a program in Jaipur on Thursday. According to the information received by NDTV, he had submitted his resignation to the Chief Minister on June 20 itself. However, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has not yet accepted the resignation. After this, there are speculations whether efforts are still being made to persuade Kirori Lal Meena to withdraw his resignation. Agriculture Minister Kirori Lal Meena announced his resignation in a program in Jaipur on July 4. He said that CM Bhajanlal Sharma had forbidden me from resigning. But, I have resigned. Kirori Lal Meena wrote a verse from Shri Ramcharitmanas on his social media account ‘X’, ” Raghukul reeti sada chali aayi. Praan jaai par bachan na jaai.”

He had submitted his resignation to the CM on 20 June itself

Kirori Lal Meena had resigned on 20th June itself. The CM had requested him to continue in the post. After that Kirori Lal Meena also held a meeting of the department. Kirori Lal met BL Santosh in Delhi late last evening. He was informed about the entire incident. He had said that I am only resigning from the post of minister. I will continue to work for the organization.

He had taken the responsibility of winning 7 Lok Sabha seats
During the Lok Sabha election campaign, Kirori Lal Meena had said that if he loses the seats for which he has been given the responsibility, he will resign. Kirori Lal Meena had taken the responsibility of winning 7 seats, out of which BJP lost 7 seats. Even the Dausa seat slipped out of BJP’s hands. After the election results, there was pressure on Kirori Lal Meena to resign.

Kirori Lal Meena had promised on 17 May 2024

On 17 May 2024, Kirori Lal Meena had promised, “When PM Modi came to Dausa for a road show for election campaign on 12 April, he was given the responsibility of 7 seats. He had said that if he loses even one seat out of these 7 seats, he will resign from the post of Cabinet Minister. A day before the election results on June 4, the BJP again reiterated the same thing. If BJP loses even one seat out of 7 seats, he will resign from the post of minister. Kirori Lal Meena was given the responsibility of winning Dausa, Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Kota-Bundi, Karauli-Dholpur and Jaipur Rural seats.
